1.   Job Title

Software Validation Engineer – Manual and Automation

Partial position – 50%

2.   Primary Role

Includes developing dedicated validation environments and tools, while driving a complex process of exercising the design to verify its logical correctness. These environments are developed using diverse languages and tools, and advanced software engineering methodologies.

Various validation techniques are used, such as simulation, emulation, formal verification, and digital verification, while offering a unique Hardware-Software experience.


In general – the validation engineer will take part in the establishment, the implementation, the follow-up and the maintenance of continuous validation plans at company site, handshake with both FW & HW teams.

In practice –

·        high involvement with the motion controller team

·        mastering industrial robotics control


3.   Key Responsibilities

The Validation engineer will:

  • develop expertise with Servotronix architecture.
  • Develop test plans and automated test cases.
  • develop, review and approve qualification and validation features and ensure they are written in accordance with company and industry standards.
  • be deeply involved in the process of developing new features.

  • At least two years left in an academic institute


5. Knowledge

  • B.Sc. student in Mechanical or Mechatronics Engineering - Must
  • Experience with manual & automation testing - an advantage
  • A background in electronics – from the military/ high school/ university courses/ practical engineering - an advantage
  • Experience creating and executing automation tests - an advantage
  • Experience with automation frameworks: Selenium/ QTP/ Ronorex/ TestComplete - an advantage
