We are looking for a creative and passionate Backend developer to join the Cloud & Web management group. This developer will join the Core team of Smart-1 Cloud- our SaaS product that enables customers to use Check Point’s Security Management over the web as a service and drive the growth of Check Point’s activity on the cloud.

Responsibilities

• As part of the team, you will work on mostly backend capabilities, in an agile development and delivery manner.
• Develop and own capabilities and features end-to-end from design to production, addressing CI/CD pipeline, monitoring, auto-testing.
• You Will handle variety of technologies both on the native cloud (AWS) services and on classic server-side processes that are used as part of the cloud solution.
• Maintain SaaS mentality with the customers’ experience always in mind.

Qualifications

• Deep knowledge in SW engineering, preferably a degree.
• At least 3 years of experience developing distributed systems
• At least 3 years of experience in node.js.
• Experience with launching and maintaining a system on the cloud with agile methodology, CI/CD pipelines etc.
• Well organized, execution capabilities, methodical approach to problem-solving.
• Team player with excellent collaboration and communication skills
• AI-savvy

It would be great if you also have:

• Experience with Java, Terraform
• Knowledge of Checkpoint products
