Miggo is looking for a Data Analyst who loves connecting the dots between data, product, and engineering. You’ll work closely with teams across the company to validate the integrity of our data and surface insights that help us build smarter, more reliable systems.

In this role, you’ll help us gather insights from the data collected by Miggo from various sources, onboard new data sources into the Miggo ecosystem, and ensure that we only ingest high-quality data into our systems. The insights you uncover will support the product team in making data-driven decisions and the engineering team in refining data pipelines - so you’ll need to feel comfortable working across both worlds.

What you'll do

• Dive deep into complex data to uncover actionable insights that drive product and engineering decisions.
• Define and monitor data-quality metrics to ensure accuracy, consistency, and completeness across our ecosystem.
• Collaborate closely with engineers to understand data flows, identify anomalies, and improve data collection pipelines.
• Partner with product managers to translate data into stories and guide product strategy.
• Continuously question assumptions, challenge inconsistencies, and strive for the highest data standards.
  
  

What you have

• 5+ years of experience as a data analyst or product analyst.
• Demonstrated ability to gather and present clear, relevant, data-based insights - including asking the right questions from the start.
• Strong experience working with both SQL and NoSQL databases - understanding how they work and how to run efficient queries.
• Strong experience using Python scripts to read, transform, and analyze data.
• Some familiarity with software and pipeline development in Python. You won’t be developing code yourself, but you’ll work closely with developers.
• Statistical knowledge that enables you to draw valid conclusions from datasets.
• Strong experience creating effective data visualizations (we use Python visualization libraries and Grafana).
• Experience and knowledge in the cybersecurity domain is an advantage.
