We're looking for a Tier 4 System Reliability Engineer to join us at a pivotal moment of transformation. This role serves as the technical bridge between Notraffic’s customer-facing operations and R&D. You will handle complex system escalations, validate new software and hardware before release, and ensure that issues found in the field are resolved efficiently and permanently. You will work closely with the Support and Engineering teams, maintaining deep visibility into system health and version performance across both the edge and cloud layers. Your insight will directly shape product reliability, customer satisfaction, and system resilience across global deployments.
Your day to day will look like:
- Serve as a liaison between the customer facing teams and R&D
- Examine, reproduce, and troubleshoot complex system failures across cloud services, edge devices, and communication layers.
- Collaborate with R&D to identify root causes, propose solutions, and verify fixes through testing.
- Oversee the end-to-end escalation lifecycle, ensuring clear communication and closure on all incidents.
- Structure and Perform Acceptance Test Procedures (ATP) on software and hardware releases before deployment to customers.
- Contribute to internal tools, documentation, and processes that improve troubleshooting efficiency.
- Maintain feedback loops with Product and Engineering to guide long-term reliability improvements.
Requirements:
- 3-5 years of experience in systems, DevOps, or technical operations roles
- Great English
- Familiarity with logging systems (Grafana, Corologix etc.) to analyze, identify and reproduce faults.
- Experience with Linux, Docker, and cloud environments
- Strong understanding of networking, including TCP/IP and device connectivity.
- Experience with Cloud environments (AWS is a plus)
- Practical scripting ability in Python/Ruby
Nice to Have:
- Experience testing or validating hardware–software integrated systems.
- Exposure to NVIDIA Jetson
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines
- Background in IoT, smart mobility, or industrial systems.
- Customer facing skills
- Familiarity with edge computing systems, embedded hardware, or IoT deployments.
