The company's multidisciplinary R&D team includes several subgroups, such as mechanics, algorithmics and physics and software and hardware.
DSP/Embedded Hardware Engineer
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop embedded hardware systems
- Engage in both low-level real-time design and high-level system architecture
- Participate in R&D activities and collaborate with the hardware team to ensure optimal hardware-software integration
- Conduct hardware bring-up, debugging and verification using laboratory test equipment
- Support documentation, verification and regulatory compliance throughout the design lifecycle
Education & Experience
- B.Sc. or M.Sc. in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline
- At Least 5+ years of experience in hardware development and embedded system design
Mandatory Skills
- Embedded System Design: Deep expertise in embedded hardware design, including ARM microcontrollers and DSP processors
- Programming: Strong proficiency in Embedded C/C++, covering low-level real-time design as well as high-level architecture
- Operating Systems: Hands-on experience with Real-Time Operating Systems (RTOS) and embedded Linux platforms
- Skilled in schematic interpretation (OrCAD/Altium Designer)
- Solid understanding of analog and digital circuitry, signal conditioning, power management, and mixed-signal design
- Experienced in hardware bring-up, debugging, and verification
- Ability to produce technical documentation and verification reports
Advantageous Skills
- Programmable Logic: Experience with FPGA/CPLD design, including VHDL (optionally Verilog) coding, simulation, and synthesis
- Signal Processing: Familiarity with implementing/optimization DSP algorithms
- Software Tools: Experience with MATLAB, Microsoft Visual Studio, or Python for analysis, simulation, or tool development
- Regulatory Compliance: Familiarity with medical device safety standards (IEC 60601) and related regulatory design considerations
