Job Description

As a Backend Engineer in Wix Services, you'll work in a highly distributed, cutting-edge environment, playing a central role in building scalable, resilient systems that handle millions of requests per minute. In your day-to-day, you will:

• Solve real complex problems at a high scale
• Design our system to handle big scale while taking into account resiliency and backward-forward compatibility with top-notch software engineering

• At Wix our work model is hybrid with 4 days a week from our North Tel Aviv Campus and 1 day of remote work from home; please make sure this fits your preferences before moving forward.
  
  
  

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience as a backend engineer
• Possess an in-depth understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) and SOLID principles
• Background in design, with passion for Test-Driven Development (TDD) methodology
• Knowledge and interest in microservice architectures
• Strong communication skills in both Hebrew and English
• Flexible, adaptable to context changes, and open-minded
