We seek an ambitious Senior Backend Engineer to join our R&D core team. This role is a unique opportunity to shape our platform, significantly impact product direction, and collaborate closely with product management and design to deliver exciting features.

What You’ll Do

• Architect core systems powering our AI-driven platform, ensuring scalability, reliability, and high performance.
• Design and deliver end-to-end features, collaborating closely with product managers, designers, and fellow engineers.
• Work hands-on with AI/LLM services, APIs, and models, building intelligent workflows for automation, video editing, and content generation.
• Research and implement innovative solutions.
• Influence product direction with data-driven insights and technical creativity.

What We’re Looking For

• 8+ years of experience architecting, deploying, and maintaining scalable, distributed backend systems.
• Strong Python expertise, with frameworks like FastAPI, and proven experience with SQL & NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Redis).
• Cloud experience (GCP preferred, AWS/Azure welcome).
• A product-minded engineer with a proven ability to translate business challenges into technical solutions, driving innovation beyond the spec sheet while balancing technical depth with business priorities.
• Experience in fast-paced startup environments, thriving in ambiguity and ownership.
• Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
• A degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field – advanced degree a plus.
