We develop and supply a broad portfolio of airborne, land, and naval systems and products for defense, homeland security, and commercial applications

We are seeking an experienced and visionary Development Manager to lead the Head-Up Display (HUD) Development Teams within the ISTAR & EW Division in Rehovot

This role involves managing the development of advanced airborne display systems, integrating multidisciplinary technologies across hardware and software domains

Responsibilities

Lead and coordinate multidisciplinary development teams, including mechanical, optical, software, and system engineers

Plan, manage, and synchronize system development activities across all involved stakeholders

Make critical decisions throughout the development lifecycle, balancing technical trade-offs and priorities

Ensure compliance with project management requirements including schedule, scope, quality, budget, and customer satisfaction

Oversee all technical aspects of the system, including formal development milestones such as design reviews, integration, testing, trials, and platform integration

Prioritize engineering activities and guide the selection between alternative solutions

Allocate development resources in coordination with the division head and business unit leader

Ensure successful completion of system integration, development, documentation, and release commitments

Requirements

B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Physics, Electro-Optics, or Mechanical Engineering

Minimum 5 years of proven experience leading multidisciplinary system development projects

Experience in work plan creation and budget management

Experience in developing military-grade electro-optical systems – advantage

Familiarity with airborne platform integration – advantage

Strong system-level understanding and engineering insight

Demonstrated leadership and ability to motivate and guide teams

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

High level of proficiency in English (spoken and written)

Quick learner with strong analytical and prioritization skills
