We are seeking an Avionics Systems Engineer to lead engineering teams in developing systems for military aircraft.


The position includes:

  • Leading system design and development in accordance with operational requirements and stakeholder needs, consolidating the engineering effort across the project
  • Conducting systems engineering for the development of airborne mission computers and communication systems for military platforms, enhancing Air Force mission capabilities
  • Defining, specifying, and documenting hardware, software, and infrastructure requirements
  • Preparing design reviews (PDR, CDR)
  • Performing system integration and testing in the lab and on aircraft
  • Writing system acceptance test procedures (lab and flight)
  • Defining flight test requirements and analyzing results
  • Supporting all project phases: development, testing, flight trials, serial production, and customer support
  • Ensuring compliance with project milestones, quality standards, and delivery goals
  • Collaborating with external stakeholders, including customers, development teams, subcontractors, and partners


What we’re looking for:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Aeronautical, Computer, Electrical, or Electronics Engineering – required
  • Master’s degree in Systems Engineering – an advantage
  • Experience in the design, planning, and implementation of multidisciplinary development and integration processes, preferably in avionics systems – required
  • Experience leading a team (direct or matrix) in developing real-time/embedded systems – required (if no management experience, at least 10 years in systems engineering)
  • Experience in developing and defining requirements for real-time applications – required
  • Strong technical English skills (reading, speaking, writing) – required
  • Experience with or knowledge of military avionics systems, interfaces, and standards – required
  • Background in the Air Force in avionics systems engineering, flight testing, or technical-operational roles – an advantage
  • Experience in developing and defining requirements for system-of-systems applications – an advantage
