We’re looking for a sharp and passionate Data Scientist to join our top‑notch Analytics team. Using your technical and analytical skills, your mission will be to develop data‑science models that directly impact business KPIs in multiple areas.
Responsibilities:
- Develop data‑science models to support business decision‑making and uplift KPIs across domains such as retention, monetization, fraud detection, and matchmaking.
- Analyze complex data sets (gameplay, marketing, financial) to surface trends, patterns, and actionable insights.
- Own projects end‑to‑end: requirements gathering, data extraction, feature engineering, model building, validation, A/B testing, deployment, and ongoing monitoring.
- Continuously improve model performance through experimentation and rigorous evaluation.
- Present findings clearly and efficiently—turning complex concepts into concise, actionable recommendations for technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams (Product, Engineering, Marketing, Live‑Ops) to identify and deliver data‑driven solutions.
- Create and maintain frameworks for coding standards, version control, experiment tracking, and documentation.
- Stay up‑to‑date with the latest advances in data science and machine learning and champion relevant best practices within the team.
Requirements:
- BSc (or higher) in a quantitative field (Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or related).
- 3+ years of hands‑on experience applying data‑science or advanced analytics in a production environment.
- Proficiency in Python (Pandas, NumPy, Scikit‑learn, XGBoost, etc.) and SQL; comfortable working with large‑scale data warehouses.
- Demonstrated expertise in the full machine‑learning workflow: data extraction, cleansing, feature engineering, model development, evaluation, deployment, and monitoring.
- Strong background in statistical analysis, experimental design, and A/B testing.
- High level of analytical and problem‑solving skills with meticulous attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills—the ability to present complex data in a clear and concise manner.
- Self‑learner with a proactive, can‑do attitude and strong interpersonal skills.
- Working experience in the gaming industry (mobile, free‑to‑play, real‑money, or ad‑tech) – an advantage.
