As organizations increasingly transition their applications and workloads to the cloud, ensuring robust security has never been more critical.

We are seeking a highly skilled Backend Engineer to join our Platform Security team within the Cloud Security organization (CloudGuard). In this role, you will play a vital role in helping organizations stay secure by developing cutting-edge cloud security solutions.

Major Responsibilities

• Design and develop advanced security solutions for our cloud platforms
• Collaborate closely with architects and other teams within the Cloud Guard organization
• Participate actively in all phases of the software development lifecycle, from Proof of Concept (POC) and architecture to deployment and production monitoring
• Work with cloud-native technologies, primarily using AWS services
• Write, test, and maintain code, primarily in C#, with additional work in TypeScript and Python

Desired Background

• 3+ years of experience in .NET or Java - A must
• Backend experience with microservices architecture
• Experience in cloud-native programming particularly AWS - major advantage
• BSc in Computer Science or equivalent from a recognized institution
• Ability to design and implement scalable, secure distributed solution
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
