Job Summary

The Red Hat Consulting team is looking for a Senior Consultant focused on Red Hat Cloud Products to join us in Israel. In this role, you will specialize in the design and development of cloud-ready application architectures, including automated container platforms, deployment pipelines. You'll lead the on-site implementation of Red Hat's technologies like Red Hat OpenShift, Red Hat OpenShift Container Storage, Red Hat Openstack and Red Hat Ansible Automation Platform. You'll play a key role in the enterprise development of our customers, helping make our solutions both practical and workable for their businesses. You'll work to gain an understanding of customer infrastructure and business needs, make recommendations that resolve their issues, and help them make strategic decisions. As a Senior Cloud Consultant, you will help customers build enterprise applications and capabilities around cloud technologies to streamline development and allow for continuous feature release of applications.

What Will You Bring

  • Serve as a subject matter expert at the customer site, addressing technical, development, or strategic IT requirements
  • Understand industry practices and Red Hat's policies, procedures, and values
  • Demonstrate good judgment in selecting best methods to obtain solutions
  • Implement and integrate Red Hat's open and hybrid cloud solutions including Red Hat OpenShift and other Red Hat's offerings
  • Collaborate with project and customer team members to meet timelines and goals
  • Contribute to project documentation and diagrams and support ticket management
  • Mentor and share your knowledge with customers and the existing team
  • Define and promote the adoption of automation techniques and DevOps processes to improve the cloud life cycle, including infrastructure and application uptime, availability, and time-to-market
  • Implement solutions using cloud technologies, design principles, integration points, and automation methods

What Will You Do

  • 5+ years of experience working directly with enterprise stakeholders on a range of development and deployment projects
  • 3+ years of experience and advanced knowledge of Red Hat OpenShift or underlying components like Kubernetes and Docker
  • Deep knowledge of Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL)
  • Experience implementing system infrastructure and cloud solutions, including data storage, networking, monitoring, and security
  • Knowledge of Storage Solutions will be considered a strong plus
  • Ability to communicate value, progress, and metrics of key projects to required stakeholders in both technical and business audiences
  • Ability to study on your own, learn quickly, and put new ideas into practice
  • Passion for open source, software, tooling, and automation
  • Good communication skills, verbal and written, in English and Hebrew
  • Availability to travel up to 10% of time
  • Classification will be a plus
  • Red Hat Certified Engineer (RHCE) certification is a plus
  • Working experience with DevOps and agile processes is a plus
  • Experience using public cloud technologies and providers like Amazon Web Services (AWS) or Microsoft Azure is a plus
